Bahamas!!

Oh man! I flew all night long from san diego to North Carolina. It was snowing there, and we had a 3 hour layover then FINALLY got here around noon. We had the wildest taxi drive over. 

Our driver had one lazy eye and he kept creepily staring at me with it in the mirror. He was singing so loud to old love songs and had the worst voice i've ever heard. But it made my day and I couldn't stop laughing the whole way. He drove about 65 on the two lane road and never stopped honkin his horn or cussing out anyone who got in the way. i thought we might die. it was fun though. 

We finally got to the luxurious Red Carpet Inn. Haaha. It's a funny little place a little ways from downtown. We bought some canned soup and just drank it cause we couldn't find anything else. YUM. 

Everything is so bold and colorful here. It makes our neighborhoods seem sooo boring. The houses are bright yellow and blue and pink. RAD! Like disneyland kind of. There are huge conch shells lying around everywhere. We walked around the whole city and went to the beach. The water is beautiful and the best turquoise blue I've ever seen! The thing about the city was that EVERYTHING was closed and empty. I have no idea why? Maybe cause it's Sunday. But it was still real exciting to just explore this new place. 

Saw the ship we are going to be living on. It looks nice and real big. I cant wait I cant wait I cant wait! I feel so blessed to be able to be doing this.
